Andrew S. Love
Principal
Love Savings Holding Company

Mr. Love is Chairman, Co-CEO and a principal owner of Love Savings Holding Company. He is also Director of Heartland Bank, Chairman of the Bank’s Finance-ALCO Committee and serves as a Director of Love Funding. Mr. Love has over 40 years experience in real estate and finance and was a partner at the law firm of Bryan, Cave, McPheeters, and McRoberts. He has served as an active board member for many charitable organizations, including St. Louis Symphony Society, St. Louis Country Day School, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Missouri Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, Center for Plant Conservation and Webster University.

Mr. Love received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Harvard Law School.

Laurence A. Schiffer
Principal
Love Savings Holding Company

Mr. Schiffer is Co-CEO and a principal owner of Love Savings Holding Company. He is also Chairman of Heartland Bank, past Chairman of Love Funding and Chairman and CEO of Hallmark Holdings, a joint venture development company with the Rothschild Group, an international investment firm. Over the past three decades Mr. Schiffer has actively directed the development, ownership, acquisition, and management of commercial real estate properties including institutional quality office, hotel, retail, industrial, apartment, and senior housing properties for both the company’s own account and for its affiliates and domestic and foreign partners.

Mr. Schiffer received a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University.

Richard M. Stevenson
Chairman
Love Funding

Mr. Stevenson has over 30 years of finance experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Love Funding he was President and CEO of Northland Financial Company, one of the nation’s largest commercial mortgage banking firms. While at Northland he personally arranged billions of dollars of financing on St. Louis properties for its institutional investor clients including permanent loans, joint ventures, pre-sales, mezzanine financing and participating mortgages secured by all of types of institutional grade properties.

Former memberships include Chairmanship of the Freddie Mac Multifamily Advisory Council and The Nationwide Life Correspondent Advisory Council.

Mr. Stevenson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Mark Dellonte
President
Love Funding

As President of Love Funding, Mr. Dellonte is responsible for the overall profitability of the company’s national operations, including directing the origination of loans, marketing, business development, funding source relationships and staffing. Prior to his current role, Mr. Dellonte served as Vice President and Managing Director of Agency Lending and Chief Underwriter for Love Funding, during which time the company grew to HUD’s 5th largest lender in total loans originated.

Mr. Dellonte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The American University in Washington, D.C.

David Minton
President and Chief Executive Officer
Heartland Bank

Mr. Minton has over 25 years of experience in the banking and real estate industries. During his tenure with Heartland Bank, he has played a key role in growing the Bank’s assets from $500 million, to over $800 million, in just over 3 years. Prior to Heartland Bank, he served as Senior Vice President of Love Savings Holding Company. In this capacity, he was responsible for venture capital/merchant banking activity for both Love Savings and Heartland Bank. His experience also includes Vice President of Finance and Development at Paragon Group, a national real estate development investment company. He also was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Duke Realty Investments, St. Louis office.

Mr. Minton received a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University and an MBA in Finance from Washington University.

David Kirkland
President
Hallmark Investment Corporation

Mr. Kirkland has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate and has held numerous executive positions within The Love Companies. He has been a member of Heartland Bank’s Board of Directors since 1985, served as President for Love Funding, and was a principal for a Love Company owned NASD broker-dealer. He has served as an active board member for Emmaus Homes, The International Institute, Lindenwood University, Youth In Need, Providence Program, La Clinica and the National Association of Senior Living Industry Executives.

Mr. Kirkland received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston University and attended University of North Carolina’s Graduate School of City and Regional Planning and Southwestern’s Graduate School of Banking.

Douglas Schiffer
President
Hallmark Senior Housing

Mr. Schiffer has over 20 years experience in commercial real estate. Prior to Hallmark he served as an executive officer for Love Funding, focused on senior housing finance. He has frequently been featured as a guest speaker at national financing conferences.

Mr. Schiffer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University.

Mary Rieser
President
Love Management Company, Inc.

As President of Love Management Company, Inc., Ms. Rieser directs the operation of all aspects of the company. With 25 years of property management experience, she has managed senior and subsidized housing, as well as commercial properties. She has successfully managed both start-up and turn around projects in city and suburban locations across the country. She is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and Missouri, a member of the St. Louis Association of Realtors and has served on the Executive Committee of the St. Louis Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Ms. Rieser received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mundelein College and an MBA from St. Louis University.

Larry K. White
President and Chief Executive Officer
Heartland Bank Business Credit

The charter member of Heartland Bank Business Credit, Mr. White has eighteen years experience in the leasing industry. Prior to starting Heartland in 1999, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Granite Financial, and Chief Operating Officer of Rockford Industries. Prior to Rockford Industries, he held increasingly senior positions with Master Lease/Tokai Financial Services, completing his tenure there as Director of Operations.

Mr. White received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Political Science from UCLA University.

Peter M. Schiffer
Vice President, Love Investment Company,
and Senior Vice President, Love Hotel Management

Mr. Schiffer brings over 25 years of experience in real estate development and operations. Mr. Schiffer has served in numerous positions including hotel operations, asset management, finance, sales and food & beverage for such companies as Ritz Carlton, Marriott, Clarion and InterContinental hotels.

He enjoys an impressive track record of property operations, finance, development and construction of new properties. Prior to joining Love Investment Company, Mr. Schiffer was the Vice President of Love Funding Corporation exclusively lending to the hospitality industry.

Presently, Mr. Schiffer’s is responsible for developing hospitality facilities across the country. His duties include land acquisition, zoning, financing and other related development activities.

He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Colorado and is a licensed real estate agent in Georgia and Missouri.

Joseph A. Ruggeri

Love Hotel Management Company

Mr. Ruggeri has more than 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, having served in various capacities including General Manager, Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations for several national and independently owned hotel chains across the country. As President for Love Hotel Management Company, Mr. Ruggeri’s focus is the ongoing operational oversight of existing properties, while continuing to grow the company’s hotel management portfolio.

Mr. Ruggeri received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Louis University and serves on the board of the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission.

Richard Miller
Executive Vice President
Hallmark Holdings

Mr. Miller has a broad range of commercial real estate expertise including site analysis, land acquisition, municipal approval, design, construction, sales, financing and leasing for retail, hotels, resorts and senior housing developments across the country.

Recent transactions Mr. Miller was instrumental in executing were the $1 billion dollar sale of 24 hotel properties, and the marketing, sales and operations of a $150 million dollar private golf resort with 98 single family units in Vail, Colorado.

Mr. Miller has held several senior level positions with HBE Corporation, The Love Companies and May Department Stores.
