Andrew S. Love

Mr. Love was Chairman, Co-CEO and a principal owner of Love Savings Holding Company prior to acquisition of it and its subsidiaries Heartland Bank and Love Funding Corporation by Midland States Bancorp. He is currently Chairman and Co-CEO of Hallmark Investment Corporation. Mr. Love has over 50 years of experience in real estate and finance and was a partner at the law firm of Bryan, Cave, McPheeters, and McRoberts. He has served as a board member of many charitable organizations, including St. Louis Symphony Society, St. Louis Country Day School, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Missouri Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, Center for Plant Conservation, Webster University, Edward K. Love Conservation Foundation and the Martha Love Symington Charitable Foundation / Love Family Charitable Trust.
Mr. Love received an AB degree from Harvard College and an LLB degree from the Harvard Law School.
Laurence A. Schiffer

Mr. Schiffer was the Co-Chief Executive Officer and a principal owner of Love Savings Holding Company, and Chairman of Heartland Bank and Love Funding Corporation, prior to Midland States Bancorp’s acquisition of those entities. He is also President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Hallmark Investment Corporation, a multi-purpose investment company, and was Chairman and CEO of Allegro Senior Living, a developer, owner and operator of senior housing that was formerly a joint venture partner with Almanac Realty Investors, an international investment firm. Over the past five decades, Mr. Schiffer has directed the development, ownership, acquisition, and management of commercial real estate properties including institutional quality office, hotel, retail, industrial, apartment, and senior housing properties. Mr. Schiffer holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University.
Steven A. Schumm
Executive Vice President - Strategy & Finance

Mr. Schumm is a CPA experienced in the accounting, tax, and finance-related issues confronting entrepreneurial enterprises. As an Ernst & Young tax services partner and as the Missouri/Kansas Managing Partner, he advised clients operating in a range of various industries. After 25 years with E&Y, Steve served as CFO of three publicly-traded companies engaged in three different industries including communications, hotels, and international manufacturing, each undergoing transformational change, and with two ultimately acquired by private equity investors at substantial premiums. Mr. Schumm is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of St. Louis University.
